Spa Ferrari Days — April: The largest concentration of Ferrari cars in Europe which can be seen racing on the Spa-Francorchamps race track.
International Jazz Festival of Liege - May: One of the two major jazz festivals of Wallonia (the other being Gouvy), the event takes place in the Congress Hall of Liege.
Liege-Rome-Liege vintage car rally — May: Classic car rally which departs from the Prince-Bishop's Palace and arrives in Venice on the the last week the month.
14th July, the last day of the market, sees big celebrations for Bastille Day (although yes, you are in Belgium) including fireworks outside the Congress Hall. In fact, the celebrations are almost certainly bigger than on the Belgian National Day a few days later on the 21st!
Folklore festivities of 15th August in “Outremeuse”. There's a flea market, regional folk dances, street processions with floats and street music. The festival is in the heart of old Liege.
The Chritmas Village — last friday of November to end of December (30th Nov 2012 - 30th Dec 2012): Liege is celebrating once again! With its more than 100 stalls, this is not only the longest lasting Christmas Villages but also one of the largest. It takes place on the Place du Marché and on the adjoining Place Saint- Lambert. A skating rink surrounded by stalls selling food, is also set up on the Place Cathédrale.
