 The E111 form is no longer valid for free or reduced cost health care within the EEA. A new EU-wide scheme known as European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) has replaced it.

If you are a UK resident with a UK National Insurance Number you can apply for an EHIC online, or download an application form from the Department of Health website. It may take several weeks to receive the card.

Pharmacies are open weekdays 09.00 – 18.00. At night and at weekends at least one local pharmacy will be open. Addresses will be displayed in the window of every pharmacy.
