This former clergy-house, clinging to the side of the church in an Ardennes village, has been converted into a B&B that is an ideal base for many activities in the surrounding area. The lush forest and the meandering River Semois offer great routes on foot, by bike, on horseback or by canoe.

4 rooms, each decorated in different colours, including grey, blue, dark red, ochre and brown, which blend with the colours of the floorboards and the light-wood furniture to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

€66 (£45) per room per night.

Nearby are the Fairy Farm (unusual museum) and the Witches’ Seal (panoramic viewpoint).

Evening meals available / Home decoration shop in same building.

Dogs welcome by prior arrangement and payment of a €5 (£3) supplement.
