Castle of Beloeil - 1 hour drive from Brussels
The Castle of Beloeil stands behind its moats and gardens in the Province of Hainaut. Owned by the Princes de Ligne since the 14th century, this beautiful castle houses a fantastic art collection, with paintings from the 15th to the 19th century. The castle has an outstanding library with 20,000 books. A small train carries guests around the vast grounds of the estate, which feature exquisite sculpted French-style gardens. Entrance fee (5 EURO for adults and 4 EURO for children) includes visit of the castle and the gardens.
