Charming, 43 minutes’ drive from Mons. [39 km - 24 miles]
Situated at the heart of the farming village of Solre-Saint-Géry, a few kilometres from Beaumont, this eighteenth-century former priory was snoozing quietly until the young Vincent Gardinal woke it up with his high-quality imagination and converted it into a cocoon of calm and gourmet cuisine. Inside its ivy-covered walls, the priory has been completely redecorated in a cosy style, around a courtyard garden where guests can sip apéritifs or enjoy relaxed dinners in the warmer months.
Six prettily-decorated guest rooms. Breakfast can be served in the intimate central gallery, with superb views of the garden. From €75 to €115.
Gastronomic restaurant featuring Serge Tonneau, the Gault-Millau guide’s “Cook of the year 2006”.
Meeting room for up to 12 people.
